1995年9月14日中国正式加入国际乳品联合会（IDF）成为其会员国，同年在中国组建了IDF中国国家委员会并设立秘书处。IDF中
国国家委员会秘书处设在国家乳业工程技术研究中心内，是我国作为会员国以主人翁姿态参加国际乳业活动的重要交叉点，是IDF和其它会员国在中国的联络点。IDF中国国家委员会秘书处自成立以来，一直致力于促进中国乳业同其他乳业发达国家间的技术交流与沟通，在把接收到的国际乳品专业技术信息和服务及时转达给行业领导和会员单位，向国际组织反映一些与中国有密切关系的重要国际规则的意见以及我国乳业合理利用国际专业技术领域的会议,专家资源和资料资源等方面起着重要的作用。IDF中国国家委员会秘书处愿与中国乳业携手，努力搭建同国外技术交流，合作与发展的平台，为中国乳业的发展做出新的贡献。
Chinese National Committee of IDF secretariat in the national Dairy Engineering Research Centre, is the ownership of our country as a gesture of Member States to participate in the activities of the International Dairy important crossing point, is IDF and the other Member States point of contact in China. IDF National Committee Secretariat since its inception has been committed to promoting China's Dairy Milk with other technical exchanges between developed countries and communication is received in the international dairy expertise to convey timely information and services to industry leaders and members units, to reflect the number of international organizations in China are closely related to the views of important international rules and the rational use of international expertise of dairy technology conferences, expert resources, and information resources play an important role. IDF National Committee Secretariat is willing to join hands with the Chinese dairy industry, to set up exchanges with foreign technology, cooperation and development platform for the development of China's dairy industry to make new contributions.
